Do I need a modpack to join?

Not strictly. Modded Survival works with a vanilla client on the matching version, but the pack is recommended for the performance and interface mods.

A server shows offline on the homepage. Is it down?

Probably, but the status check goes through a public ping API that occasionally has hiccups. Try joining in-game before assuming the worst.

How do I know when a new pack version is out?

Each server's page always shows the latest release of its pack. You can also watch releases on the GitHub repository.

My suggestion was rejected. Can it be reconsidered?

Yes. If circumstances change, for example the mod gets updated, suggest it again with a note.

Can I use a launcher other than the Modrinth App?

Yes. Prism Launcher and ATLauncher support the .mrpack format.
